The UC candle provides all the protection of the external ceramic filter barrier, designed to remove harmful cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia and other solid substances. In addition to the carbon water treatment which removes chlorine and other unpleasant smells, it adds the benefit of a toxic lead reduction done by a specific compound that brings lead concentration to 150ppb up to 6 months or 2200 liters.
