Dirt separator is a magnetic filter designed to capture and retain the particles of magnetite and ferrous sand that form inside the heating system circuit. Inside the filter, the magnet attracts and retains all the impurities of ferrous origin, while the stainless steel mesh, that is around the magnets, filter the non-ferrous dirt, by protecting the circulators from the wear, they would suffer if they worked in the presence of these particles.
